Trenchless Sewer Services in Pittsburgh
Sewer & Pipe Repairs, Replacements & Installations
Because your sewer lines are located underground, many plumbing companies need to dig up your yard—and sometimes even the sidewalk or road near your house—in order to access them. Not only is this a complex process, but it can also be very costly. At Matt Mertz Plumbing, Inc., we are proud to offer trenchless sewer services in Pittsburgh that will save you time, money, and hassle. Our single-access pipe relining process can fix broken sewer lines without digging up your property.
Our Pittsburgh plumbers are trained and prepared to provide confident trenchless services. We use the Perma-liner pull-in-place system, which is unmatched in terms of its level of quality and the materials used for installation. This system helps us complete your job in less than a day—far less than the time it takes for traditional repairs and replacements.
Benefits of trenchless plumbing include:
- Cost savings
- Less intrusive to your property
- Ease and speed of services
- Multiple methods of repair
- Minimal mess and clean-up
Our Pipe Lining Method
Matt Mertz Plumbing, Inc. utilizes the Perma-liner pull-in-place system, which is a process that uses a PU-coated needle felt tube, also called the Navi Liner. We inject this material with a solid epoxy resin that is of 100% capacity and then pull the tube into position and allow the resin to seal and bond. The sewer line can even be used as soon as the same day that we fix it!

How Often Should Sewer Lines Be Cleaned?
On average, sewer lines should be cleaned every 18 to 22 months! Of course, each property differs and has different needs. Older homes are often more prone to clogs. Which is why sewers should be cleared out more frequently. Regular sewer cleaning will not only ensure your sewer works properly, it can prevent costly damage from sewage leaks and blockage.
